Technology hates me. I’m convinced. I cannot figure out why my pictures are turning out blurry. They are beautiful and sharp and clear when we take them and edit them but as soon as I upload them to the blog…they get a little fuzzy. I know it isn’t really all that bad but I am a bit of a perfectionist and it is seriously driving me mad. It is one of the reasons that I have not been posting as frequently the past month.
I apologize for the images being a little blurry…Sam and I are still learning my new camera. I absolutely love it but it is taking some time and experimenting to learn how to get the most out of it.
Anyway, the few days we had of cooler weather have absolutely carried over into my outfit inspiration as of late. Of course the weather has warmed back up to the 90’s but I’m basically just ignoring it.
The last couple of mornings have felt like fall. As much as a love summer, a crisp fall morning is hard to beat. I was so excited because the weather was absolutely perfect for this outfit that I had planned! Bobeau reached out to me to style one of their fall items and I couldn’t believe that the weather matched the outfit so accurately, haha.
I have to say…this may be my favorite look and photoshoot to date. The outfit reflects my tastes and personality so well and Civic Center Park is simply stunning (I think I might like it as much as Union Station *gasp!*). Wearing this look all day I felt very much myself and it is exceptionally comfortable. Nothing beats something that is comfortable and stylish! Olive/military/fatigue green; whatever you call it, it is in for fall and it is a wonderful color.
If you follow me on Snapchat (talshooster) then you might have seen that last week Sam and I took a last minute trip to Breckenridge. I love that I live so close to such wondrous places as Breckenridge. The beauty that is only a couple hours away from my front door is astounding. We booked a room and spent a cozy night in the mountains in a hotel on the water. There were fruit bats flying above the lake and I enjoyed watching them. It is fascinating how quietly they can fly.
Sometimes I just feel like wearing a serious punch of color and then standing in front of a crazy colorful wall because…that’s just what bloggers do.
In all seriousness, I truly enjoy color. For years I primarily wore gray and black with very little color. Now don’t get me wrong, I still adore gray and black, but I noticed that while I do like those colors my shopping tendencies were greatly influenced by my overall mood.

Lately I have been dreaming of traveling. I took a quick trip to Oklahoma but that wasn’t quite enough to soothe the travel itch.
If you are not a blogger, then I apologize…this may do absolutely nothing for you, haha.
My purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale finally arrived and I couldn’t wait to wear them. Most of them are still a little too warm to wear yet but I’ll be busting those out as soon as we get a couple of cooler days. Thankfully this top and skirt are lightweight enough to wear now and they’ll transition into fall wonderfully. I always love these bow heels. I didn’t buy them from J.
