Going out for dinner and drinks in New York City is truly one of my favorite things. When the sun has just gone down and the streets are aglow from the city lights…there is a little magic in it. It feels timeless and while the city is far from still, there is a kind of warmth in the atmosphere that I find comforting at the end of the daylight hours.
I wore this look the day we traveled to Philadelphia. We woke up early to frosty Denver air, loaded up our car and headed to the airport. While it takes some planning in advance, I love early morning flights. Getting up before the sun and watching it rise as we drive to the airport is just most exciting to me. Since it was a little chilly when we left, I made sure to wear my coat and a large blanket scarf.
I am thrilled to finally, FINALLY, unveil my new site!
While I haven’t been publishing posts the last few months, I have been hard at work behind the scenes. I have spent my time traveling, photographing looks, writing content, and editing along with some life things such as moving and fixing up our “new” home.
It has been a very busy last few months but I am so excited to see this come to fruition and to introduce you to my new brand, TalyahEden.
Technology hates me. I’m convinced. I cannot figure out why my pictures are turning out blurry. They are beautiful and sharp and clear when we take them and edit them but as soon as I upload them to the blog…they get a little fuzzy. I know it isn’t really all that bad but I am a bit of a perfectionist and it is seriously driving me mad. It is one of the reasons that I have not been posting as frequently the past month.
I apologize for the images being a little blurry…Sam and I are still learning my new camera. I absolutely love it but it is taking some time and experimenting to learn how to get the most out of it.
Anyway, the few days we had of cooler weather have absolutely carried over into my outfit inspiration as of late. Of course the weather has warmed back up to the 90’s but I’m basically just ignoring it.
The last couple of mornings have felt like fall. As much as a love summer, a crisp fall morning is hard to beat. I was so excited because the weather was absolutely perfect for this outfit that I had planned! Bobeau reached out to me to style one of their fall items and I couldn’t believe that the weather matched the outfit so accurately, haha.
I have to say…this may be my favorite look and photoshoot to date. The outfit reflects my tastes and personality so well and Civic Center Park is simply stunning (I think I might like it as much as Union Station *gasp!*). Wearing this look all day I felt very much myself and it is exceptionally comfortable. Nothing beats something that is comfortable and stylish! Olive/military/fatigue green; whatever you call it, it is in for fall and it is a wonderful color.
If you follow me on Snapchat (talshooster) then you might have seen that last week Sam and I took a last minute trip to Breckenridge. I love that I live so close to such wondrous places as Breckenridge. The beauty that is only a couple hours away from my front door is astounding. We booked a room and spent a cozy night in the mountains in a hotel on the water. There were fruit bats flying above the lake and I enjoyed watching them. It is fascinating how quietly they can fly.
