I found this wonderful top a couple of months ago and I immediately envisioned it with a white midi skirt. I came across this one from Asos and was so excited to put this look together. I knew that I wanted to shoot the look in the Sante Fe Art District in downtown Denver. It is loaded with colors and murals and is such an interesting area. I have yet to really explore all of the art galleries in the district but it is on my list!
I am always drawn to the contrast of blue and white and I probably always will be. It is such a classic combination. I have yet to go to Greece but I know that when I do make it there, I will pretty much blend in. Where’s Waldo – the Talyah Shooster goes to Greece edition. I just think it is such an ageless color palette. Always elegant. I am also planning on incorporating a large amount of blue and white into the decor of the new house so get ready to see a lot more of it!
I also want to mention the lip color before I hop off of here. I have linked to it above (don’t forget to use the promo code!). It is the perfect “almost red but actually pink” lip shade. I love that it has a chameleon affect based on what I’m wearing it with. Wearing color on the lips, I feel, brightens up your entire look so definitely put in the time and effort to discover some hues that complement your complexion.
We are officially packing up the house (I will have a more in-depth update posted soon) so I should get back to doing that. You never realize how many “things” you own until you have to pack them all up (and don’t even get me started on how much we’ve spent on moving boxes!). We’re getting it done though and it will be more than worth it when both of our little one’s have their own rooms.
Whatever it is on your to-do list this Monday, I wish you all the energy, inspiration and determination to accomplish it. Oh if only you could bottle and sell those things! Send some encouraging thoughts my way as well and we’ll all have a great day!
~Be back soon~
